We worked with David Walworth, an MIT educated Naval Architect and Principal Engineer known for his high-efficiency catamaran designs, to build the perfect boat for our trips from scratch.
Our amazing crew are closely trained by our Honest Eco Biologists. Crew training starts on land with research and mission alignment before moving onto the water where we hone our seamanship skills and work to become as effective as possible at delivering on our Purpose.

Best Dolphin Tour

We had an amazing time with Honest Eco. They were upfront about their mission and how they do not "seek out the dolphins" but rather roam where the dolphins may be so it is natural and on the dolphins' time. We found a dolphin, who we all lovingly named Leo, who hung out with us RIGHT next to the boat for over an hour. The captain, Sarah, and assistant Amy, were absolutely amazing in giving us any and all information and facts we needed, and we followed Amy the whole time while snorkeling - she found rays, spiny lobsters, and so many fish. It was an absolute blast.

Wonderful tour! Dolphins, stone crabs, stingrays, lobsters & angelfish! Brian was a wealth of information about the history & ecosystem, and Captain Sarah answered questions about the boatโs electric and solar system. They were both very responsible & respectful about seeing dolphinsโฆ letting them come to us, and not chasing, stressing or scaring them. They came right up to the boat to play!

This was the highlight of our trip! The crew is SO informed and knowledgeable in the area and water life. It wasn't' just a morning looking for dolphins and snorkeling. It was educational. We learned SO MUCH from the crew. From how they can identify the dolphins to the habits. While snorkeling - things that would be missed underwater were pointed out. The small group aspect, do not pass this by! I would go out with this group again!

The crew was awesome.Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and had the fun watching the dolphins in their natural habitat. Rachel was very informative. Me not knowing to swim was hesitant to get into water for snorkeling. But kayle and Rachel were so nice that they gave me confidence and also held me in hand and floated with me to give an experience of snorkeling.
Very excited to experience my very first snorkeling in the sea.

Fantastic outing! Sara and Rachel are a top-notch Team. We loved having an all female crew! We had a group of 5 dolphins (including a baby!) That played for quite a while by our boat. Loved seeing them in a natural habitat.
Snorkeling was such a learning experience! Rachel was in the water with us and pointed out such cool stuff! Her enthusiasm for all-sea-creatures and then teaching us about them was really appreciated.
I really loved the small group size of the tour - well worth any upcharge for that style of excursion.
We would go again for sure!!!

Weโve been out with Honest Eco on the Squid several times and they are always wonderful! Sara and Rachel were great and everyone had an amazing time! We saw some dolphins and did some snorkeling in the sponge gardens. Conservation is truly at the heart oh Honest Eco and they do a great job educating on the trip as well.

Kyle and Amy are fantastic! The water was cold but Amy did a fantastic job of showing us the local wildlife! We saw a grouper! Kyle is a fantastic captain. He is knowledgeable and friendly!
We saw bottlenose dolphin and a calf! It was a great trip despite challenging weather!

I chose Honest Eco because they respect dolphins in their habitats and do not try to interfere with them for our entertainment. We had an amazing tour and enjoyed having a small group, healthy snacks, and knowledgeable staff on board to teach us about the animals and their environment. I'm a master naturalist and still learned new things! The electric boat is great if you get seasick easily - it is very stable and you don't have any diesel fumes to upset your stomach. They were great with my six year old and I highly recommend them for families with young kids.

Incredibly knowledgeable staff. Respectful of the reef, the dolphins, etc. Includes healthy snacks, warm throw blankets as needed, and a great lesson on dolphin behavior and reef ecology. Not the loud, crowded, obnoxious kind of tour. Way better.
