Absolutely loved it! CJ and Captain Joel know their job well and it shows. Both are very friendly guys who will make you feel safe and comfortable. Hell, CJ made me feel safer underwater than I feel driving on Ohio roads sometimes. He made sure we knew the ropes and rules, and he made sure we knew that he would take immediate care of us should something go wrong or not feel right.
We didn't get to see much marine life, which was a bit of a bummer, but I still loved the experience of being able to breath and explore underwater! When I have the time to come back down to the keys, I definitely plan to go to CJ to get SCUBA certified.

We had a BLAST on this excursion! The entire crew of the “Good Times” catamaran was just AWESOME! They were friendly, professional, informative, patient but made you feel like you were a little piece of their Good Times family!
On our trip, we had a group who did not know how to swim HOWEVER, the staff’s patience and persistence provide these folks with a great day! The gentlemen seemed to have a wonderful experience so don’t let the fact that you cannot swim deter you from taking on this adventure!
Our family of three had a blast and saw soooooo many beautiful fish, reefs and just cannot say enough about Nicole and Holly!!! Our girls absolutely “ROCKED” it underwater!!!
I take weekly treatments as my body wears out quickly so I had to take a couple of breaks HOWEVER, the girls checked in on me and down I went again!!!! I so appreciated their attentiveness and kindness!
PLEASE take this trip! You will make memories that will last a lifetime!!!!!

Abolutely incredible experience doing the snuba. Even though they cant promise to see any wildlife you will see beautiful corals. We got very lucky and saw everything but a shark. Nicole and Cpatain Joel were 100% on their game. Very professional and incredibly informative. I would recommend you ask for them by name! This experience convinced me to get scuba certified. I hope to be in Key West again so I can go back!

Key West Snuba offers a fantastic way to experience diving and a great stepping stone to SCUBA!
While I've previously been certified for Open Water diving it was a new experience for my family. Thankfully our snuba tour was masterfully run by no less than 4 certified dive instructors, so we could not have been in safer hands!
Our dive guide CJ was incredibly professional, fantastic at engaging everyone in our dive party (including my 9 y/o and 14 y/o), and hilarious to boot! I was very impressed with CJ's attention to details and the way he ensured we all knew the rules that would keep us safe during our dive.
1) NEVER take your regulator out of your mouth!!!
2) BREATHE (like Darth Vader...nice and slow, deep, and exhale like you are blowing on hot soup)
3) PURGE the regulator if you can't breathe to immediately allow the air to flow
4) EQUALIZE the your ears often...every 2-3 feet, and if you have any trouble don't go any deeper
We heard these instructions a minimum of 3 times during our briefing as we were headed to our dive site near Sand Key Reef. By the time we were ready to get in the water everyone knew what to do, what to expect, and how to understand directions through hand signals.
We were underwater for roughly 27 minutes and spent an equal amount of time snorkeling the reef as the second sets of divers went out. We saw yellowtail snapper, angel fish, parrot fish, blue tangs, barracuda, and a beautiful filefish.
Captain Zapper, Nicole, Nick, and CJ were all all stars on our trip...so if you've ever wanted to try SCUBA, but aren't sure if you want to get certified, try Key West SNUBA.

Our Guide Nicole was extremely competent and did a very good job of explaining the details of SNUBA diving. I am a certified scuba diver but I could tell the other guests felt comfortable and safe with her instruction. I was surprised and thankful that the SNUBA team provided wetsuits. Mine fit great and while diving I could concentrate on the sea life and not the water temperature. My wife had never done this before but really liked it and said she would do it again.

My son(10) and I went together and it was literally such an incredible experience and bonding time for us. The staff was super knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I would seriously highly recommend this. Especially if you’ve always wanted to go diving and are unsure if you wanna pay to get certified, this kind of pushed me to wanting to go through with getting certified. My son has such a great time it really is fun for the whole family. Special shout-out to Nicole who literally went above and beyond, she was so incredible with my son and I can’t thank her enough, if you’re lucky enough to have her as your dive instructor tell her she comes highly recommended. I can’t imagine anyone else giving us the level of comfort and reassurance that she did. Nicole baby we loved you!!!!
Underwater Experience

Our crew was absolutely amazing. I can only do 4 stars because it's important to know that if you're connected to a group who can't swim very well, or gets afraid it really slows down your experience. We weren't able to go to the reef due to winds (absolutely nobody's fault) so we did a bayside dive near a sunken boat. We spent more time pulling the 2 people attached to us than actually freely swimming underwater. The dive itself is only roughly 30-40 minutes so that was a little sad. But the crew was super sweet and very friendly.
