A half day kayak rental will allow you to explore the calm, clear waters between Stock Island and Key West on your own from the comfort of your single or double kayak (book per person not per kayak) Glide over sea grass and through mangrove tunnels as you look for fish, birds, sharks, rays and maybe even a manatee. Great for paddlers of all experience levels though all guests must know how to swim.

- Regularly sanitised high-traffic areas
- Social distancing enforced throughout experience
- We will be sanitizing our equipment after each use. Tours are outdoors with ample space and customers will be able to be socially distant
- All guests must know how to swim
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Service animals allowed
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Very friendly staff and great rental options. The map they provide is laminated and really helpful for anyone just wanting to rent kayaks and head out on their own.

Did a half day kayak rental with my son. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did the Salt Ponds/mangroves and saw manatees in the canal and nurse sharks in the channel. Was much more enjoyable than a jet ski rental.

Easy to book 2 kayaks/paddles for 3hrs to paddle out on our own. Heather (hope I got her name correct?) was friendly, helpful, and gave us a map with directions around the mangroves of Stock Island and Key West. Above-and-beyond! We would definitely use Lazy Dog in the future and highly suggest to everyone if you want to do some kayaking or paddleboarding, check them out!
